
I will never forget that morning as long as I live. Reese and I were on the air at B93 when the networks cut away to NYC just after the first plane hit. We stopped the music and began describing the scene. We watched in horror (while "LI...
VE" on the air) as the second plane hit. We stayed on the air for several hours beyond our morning show to cover the tragedy and take phone calls. When we finally left for the day, it was so eerie to drive home without the sight or sound from airliners overhead. We get used to it I guess. Also, the autumn shadows were different because of the angle of the sun. Incredibly surreal day. We were not republicans or democrats that day. We were ALL Americans. We shared our shock & greif. Prayers for those lost.
