"American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips' mother, Sheryl Phillips, was arrested for DUI this morning according to a TMZ report.
The report says cops pulled her over in Albany, Ga., which is near Phillip's hometown. "According to law enforcement, officers administered a field sobriety test and Sheryl was unable to complete it," the report adds.
It cites an anonymous "source close to the family" who says Phillip's parents split up last week.

- I've been married to my wife Susan for over 17 years. She is a social worker and volunteers each year as Neal's assistant for the B-93 Roofsit for Kids. My youngest son Ben (13) had major brain surgery for seizures in Aug '05 He is completely recovered! Other son Harry is 16 wants to be a Naturalist/Vet.
- �� My big life changing experience was motorcycle accident during the Roofsit in Sept '06. It was humbling to have so many listener's praying for me during my 6 operations. I was off the air for 6 weeks and in a wheelchair for about 5-6 months. Since then I have experienced complete Kidney failure and have been on dialysis for 2 years. Spring of 2010 I organized TEAM CONRAD for the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. Our Kidney Walks in May Did over 100K.WOW!
