Villagers were shocked after a monkey-like piglet was born in China.
Curious locals flocked to the home of owner Feng Changlin after news of the piglet spread in Fengzhang village, Xiping township.
"It's hideous. No one will be willing to buy it, and it scares the family to even look at it!" Feng told Oriental Today.
He says the piglet looks just like a monkey, with two thin lips, a small nose and two big eyes. Its rear legs are also much longer than its forelegs, causing it to jump instead of walk. Click here to read more about the Monkey Pig.
Shania Twain 'Working Hard' to Get Over Split
Shania Twain with son Eja in Canada .A "bubbly" Shania Twain was seen shopping in Toronto recently and friends say the star is "progressing" after her shocking split from producer-songwriter husband Mutt Lange in May amid allegations of his affair. Twain, whose son Eja D’Angelo turns seven Tuesday, "is doing Okay," a source says. "She is working hard to get over her split from Mutt. Life has to continue – that's her motto. She is a strong woman.” Another source says, "There's still a lot of recovery to come but she's using the help of her friends and family. On a scale of one to 10, she is certainly not there yet but she is progressing." Meanwhile both Twain, 42, and Lange, 59, have been spotted – separately – in Canada recently. Lange was seen looking cheery at a bank with Eja. "He looked like he was in a good mood," says a witness. "He was having a nice day out with his kid." Twain made a dinner stop at Toronto eatery Kit Kat Bar and Grill. "She looked fantastic," says owner John Carbone. "She came in wearing these great shorts, sandals and a really pretty sweater. She was just gorgeous. Her mood was very bubbly." Twain also shopped at the department store Holt Renfrew, where she was "all smiles," according to a witness.

My youngest son Ben (10) had major brain surgery for seizures in Aug '05 He is completely recovered! Other son Harry turns 13 in April wants to be a Naturalist/Vet. My big life changing experience was my recovery from my motorcycle accident during the Roofsit in Sept '06. It was humbling to have so many listener's praying for me during my 6operations. I was off the air for 6 weeks and in a wheelchair for about 5-6 months. Since I was cleared to workout in Sept of '07, I've lost 75 pounds. Did you see last week where Carrie Underwood told Allure magazine that her ex (and Jessica Simpson’s current) Tony Romo still calls Carrie once in a while?
This apparently didn’t sit too well with Jessica Simpson, who appeared on a San Francisco radio station late last week. (Click on the link and go to Jessica’s second interview segment to hear it yourself.)
The station’s morning show personality Corey said that Carrie shouldn’t have revealed that Tony still calls her.
“I thought it was kind of classless for her to say that,” Corey said.
Jessica replied: “I do too. I don’t understand why she would say that.”
“‘Cause I respect Carrie and I would never say anything like that,” Jessica added.
“Tony was upset about it too. He was like, ‘I don’t understand why she feels like she has to say something like that.’”
Rumors about taylor & Joe Jonas continue! This of course is probably because Joe Jonasand Taylor Swiftcontinue to be seen together.
The latest sighting came Sunday night, Taylor opened for Rascal Flatts in West Palm Beach, Fla., and guess who was there watching every moment.
“He arrived about five minutes before the show started and stood next to the soundboard,” Mishelle Rivera, assistant promotions director at Miami’s Y100 radio station, told E! Online. She watched the concert just a few feet from the middle Jonas.
“He was wearing a Yankees baseball hat and trying no to be noticed. He was really into the show. You could tell he was really focused on her.”
Taylor’s rep says Taylor and Joe are just friends, and that she is friends with all three Jonas Brothers.

But John has had no problems sliding over to the eventual GOP nominee, Sen. John McCain.

CMT has announced the cast for Gone Country 2, the John Rich-hosted reality show in which celebrities compete to determine who is the best country singer. Production is under way in Nashville for the show that premieres in August. The cast is rock singer Sebastian Bach (Skid Row); singer Irene Cara (Fame); American Idol finalist Mikalah Gordon; singer Jermaine Jackson; *NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick; and actors Lorenzo Lamas and Sean Young. They will spend two weeks working with John and other Nashville songwriters to create a country single. John will determine which artist is most prepared to impress a country artist.

Toby Keith Feels The Heat In Persian Gulf Toby Keith is in the midst of a two-week tour visiting U.S. military personnel in the Persian Gulf. Keith has shared the hardships right along with the troops, including 130 degree temperatures. In Iraq, where Toby played to several thousand soldiers, there was a sandstorm that caused the singer and his crew to remain in Fallujah for 36 hours. Keith and his band couldn't escape the dirt and dust, which even infiltrated their rooms. Reports from his staff are that the hallways seemed to be filled with smoke because there was so much dust in the air from the storm. Carrie Underwood's Breakdown Carrie Underwood is finding that it's sometimes hard to keep her emotions in check during a show. According to "People," last Thursday in Atlanta, one of the last stops on her "Love, pain and the whole crazy Carnival Ride" co-headlining tour with Keith Urban, the "American Idol" alum broke down during a performance of "Don't Forget to Remember Me," a song she wrote for her mother. A spokesperson for the singer explains, quote, "Carrie just got overwhelmed in the moment," adding, "when she reflects on what has happened to her in the past few years since 'American Idol,' coupled with the crowds' reaction to that song, she just reacts in performance." Underwood's next show will be in Tucson, Arizona tomorrow night. In another story, Carrie Underwood has people concerned that she's taken her healthy eating habits too far. After admitting in recent interviews that she dropped 20 pounds, Carrie, 25, is again talking about weight in the May issue of InStyle saying, "I'm contect with 90 percent of me." Since she started out on American Idol in 2005, Carrie's hired a trainer and dropped three dress sizes, going from a size 8 to a 2. "She came to the show not knowing what Manolo Blahniks were," an Idol insider sez. "She won, and it became abot what designer she was wearing, how her hair looked and that she was an 'average-sized girl.' She hated the mean things people said about her weight, and when she stressed she nibbled on cookies and chips." Carrie says "I put pressure on myself to look good because I'd look at message boards and people would be like 'Carrie's fat.'" She confessed to InStyle that she's an emotional eater: "Ice cream is my friend. If anybody sees me eating a sundae and I look unhappy, something bad has happened. I am drowning my sorrows in fudge and caramel and whipped cream." Carrie told pals she started eating healthier food when she saw herself on TV. She tells InStyle: " i think about what I look like probably more than I should. Some days I step out of the shower, put on my lotion and I'l be like, 'Ugh, ew, ew.'" She added, "I count calories, fat and fiber. If I put on five pounds, it's noticed immediately." Dietician Dr. Sharon Richter, who does not treat Carrie, sezs, "From Carrie's quotes, I think she could have dysmorphic disorder, where you don't see your body as it is. She still sees herself as heavy when she's thin."

Wal-Mart stores across the United States will offer an exciting new product starting next week: Tim McGraw Spicy Jalapeño Fritos. It's all part of a promotional agreement between Tim and the chip brand, one that also will feature the singer's appearance in a series of Fritos print ads and TV commercials. In addition, a limited-edition collectible tin of the snack food that contains a DVD of Tim tour footage will hit the Mart in September.

The forthcoming Brad Paisley instrumental album won’t be strictly instrumentals. According to sources, there will be three or four vocal pieces, including a duet with Buck Owens. Brad got permission to work with the track from Buck’s company, and Brad thinks it’s “the most special thing on the record.” “He wrote a song that works great as a duet,” Brad explains. “He played guitar, he sang on it, he did the harmony parts. It’s perfect. It’s incredibly perfectly tuned… The theme of the song is running into someone you haven’t seen in a while, and anyway, he and I are singing that to one another now on this record. Sugarland has finished their 3rd album..due to be released in September..B-93 should have the first new single in May.. Among the new tunes, "Operation Working Vacation" riffs on the cool '80s pop that still sounds great on radio. "All I Want to Do" has so many hooks it belongs in a toolbox, and "We Run" has a driving bass line that underscores its lyrics of excitement of new love. Of course, the duo has already racked up many successful singles over the last few years. When you can start off a set with "Baby Girl," things are certainly looking good. Rising country superstar Taylor Swift is one of a number of musicians that have come together to improve the health of children.
Taylor and several other artists, including Lifehouse and Smashing Pumpkins, have signed on with the Body By Milk campaign, which encourages teens to drink more milk and live a healthy and more active lifestyle.
As part of the deal, teens who go to the campaign’s website can get free music downloads, artist interviews and other media from the featured artists. Visitors can also enter to win various prizes, including CDs, guitars and other items autographed by the artists. New artists will be added every two weeks until April 28. Hi Conrad, It seems that Tim McGraw has forgotten to put West Michigan on his tour schedule for 2008. Since you're best friends with all the great acts, my friend Andrea and I were wondering if you could give him a jingle and have him amend his schedule. What Creeps out Carrie Underwood?! With her heavy touring schedule, Carrie Underwood misses some of the comforts of home -- such as doing laundry in her own house. She tells Virginia's Roanoke Times, "I don't like other people doing my laundry. It kinda creeps me out, like now I know someone else is washing my undergarments. So I've got to find a laundromat and sit in there for a couple of hours. Its little things like that."
