|Rosanne Cash Tells John Rich To SHUT UP|When John Rich recently took a Florida stage to support the presidential campaign of John McCain, he said, "Somebody's got to walk the line in the country. They've got to walk it unapologetically," before singing Johnny's song, "Walk the Line."
"And I'm sure Johnny Cash would have been a John McCain supporter if he was still around," John said.
Not necessarily: Johnny supported Democrat Jimmy Carter (as the Washington Post noted).
Now, Johnny's daughter, singer/songwriter/author Rosanne Cash, has made her thoughts known on the matter with a statement posted on her Web site: "It is appalling to me that people still want to invoke my father's name, five years after his death, to ascribe beliefs, ideals, values and loyalties to him that cannot possibly be determined, and to try to further their own agendas by doing so.
"I knew my father pretty well, at least better than some of those who entitle themselves to his legacy and his supposed ideals, and even I would not presume to say publicly what I 'know' he thought or felt. This is especially dangerous in the case of political affiliation. It is unfair and presumptuous to use him to bolster any platform. I would ask that my father not be co-opted in this election for either side, since he is clearly not here to defend or state his own allegiance."
A spokeswoman for Rich didn't respond to a request for comment on Monday.

|Kenny Chesney's Bus In Accident?|
from wapt.comA tour bus belonging to Corona, a sponsor of the Kenny Chesney concert tour, was involved in a wreck Wednesday morning in Ridgeland, police said.
Police had said earlier that the tour bus belonged to Chesney.
The bus was involved in a wreck with another vehicle at about 7:30 a.m. in the area of Interstate 220 and Interstate 55, police said.
The driver of the vehicle, a woman in her 50s or 60s, police said, was injured and taken to St. Dominic Hospital. Her condition was not immediately available. There were no injuries reported on the bus which carried the driver and two stage technicians, police said.
The tour bus was headed to New Orleans, where Chesney is scheduled to perform on Thursday.

First of all, if all she's looking for is an idea for a song, I wouldn't want to put myself out there either. However, as long as the intentions of the guy asking her out are good, he shouldn’t have anything to worry about if/when she does right a song about him. It would be a love song or a song about the things she likes about him. Any guy should be happy that she would write a song about him. If I ever had the chance to meet her, I'd ask her out to dinner myself. She's very talented and I would enjoy the chance to get to know her.

My Mom is 71 years old and has had open heart and major back surgery in the last 2 and a half years. She is now unabletogo upand down stairs. She ses a scooter chair to get around . Only problem is we have no ramp to be able to get her out of the house. My prayer is that we willbeable to find someone willing to help finance this ramp that she needs. It cosy $3500.00 more than what we are able to pay. thank you and God bless the B-93 family.

hey man would like to give 2 prayer request... one for my grandma who aint doing well she just lost her brother.... and the other one is for my girlfriends dad bill he has been in and out of the hospital for the past 4 months after being diagnosed with cancer and the his gull bladder was inflamed so they jus took that out.. and he just went back to the hospital sunday night cuz he has a infection in his lungs.

I would like to make a prayer request for my mom and dad. My dad recently finished radiation for cancer of his throat. He now is facing unknow test results from a spot on one of his lungs. While the cancer in his throat has not made a reappearance and the biopsy of the lung came back negative for cancer, the doctors are still unsure of what they are dealing with. Which for any one person, is frightening enough. My mom is my dad's rock and it's been a huge emotional rollercoaster for both of them. I'm just asking that the doctors are able to put an answer to the question of my dad's health. Thank you so much. I'm not sure that they will hear this request, but i know that they will definately appreciate the thoughts and prayers. Their names are Ray and Nancy Bernard. They live in Ionia, but my mom works for Belding High School in the athletics department, and my dad is a truck driver for Walmart.
