It's never a happy day when this happens.....I'm praying for both of them during this hard time.

Less than a week after reports of their separation, country superstar Jason Aldean and his wife of 12 years have decided to legally end their marriage. The ‘Take a Little Ride’ hitmaker filed for divorce on Friday (April 26), citing irreconcilable differences.
People magazine reports that Aldean filed for divorce from Jessica Ussery in Williamson Country in Tennessee on Friday, just one day after a representative for the singer commented on reports of their separation. “I can confirm that Jason and his wife are having problems, but there is nothing more to share with the press at this time,” his rep said. “It’s a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way.”
The separation came less than a year after Aldean was photographed kissing Charlotte Bobcats dancer and former ‘American Idol‘ singer Brittany Kerr in a bar. He and his wife projected a united front in subsequent interviews, but sources told Us Weekly that the couple may have been separated since January. They were photographed together at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards in January, but Ussery didn’t attend the ACM Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month.
Although Kid Rock is now offering an affordable summer concert option with his $20 Best Night Ever Tour, he recently admitted to participating in scalping his own tickets in order to make a bigger profit.
The rocker-turned-country artist explained to CNN’s Piers Morgan that it’s not an uncommon practice in today’s entertainment industry. He says, “I’m going to tell people, a lot of artists already do it. I think I’ve been guilty of it in the past, too. We take some of our tickets, we put them on StubHub, overcharge with what the market determines they’re worth … I’m taking 1,000 of them and I’m scalping them.”
It’s a rather unfortunate and unfair practice, and fans can be assured that Rock’s new $20 Best Night Ever Tour will not allow any sort of online ticket scalping — fans have to bring the original credit card to get tickets at will call. Perhaps he’s hoping it will make up for his past actions. The tour will also offer fans discounted food and beverage prices, and the ‘Picture’ hitmaker even states that he’ll give every fan free coffee as they leave the venue.
With cheap food, cheap ticket prices, and free coffee, Rock’s tour is an appealing offer for country music fans. HIs tour starts on June 28 in Virginia.

Trisha Yearwood was the talk of the 2013 ACMs when she showed off her slimmer figure in a gorgeous red dress. The 48-year-old country singer, Food Network star and wife of the iconic Garth Brooks has built up a brand new, unshakable confidence through dropping those pesky pounds.
Losing weight is never easy, but Yearwood was determined to shed her extra baggage, and ended up creating a diet that worked for her. “I designed my own plan that’s low-fat, low-sugar 90 percent of the time,” the singer tells People. Although she sticks with it most of the time, she’s quick to admit that sometimes, you need to give yourself a little grace. “There’s no way you never fall off the wagon,” she says. It’s nice to hear her keep an upbeat and healthy mindset about weight loss.
The singer’s newfound confidence stems from losing two dress sizes, going down from a “tight size 14″ to a slim size 10. She spills that along with eating right, she has a go-to workout: Zumba. “I fell in love with it!” she exclaims, adding that she boogies to the rhythm at least three times a week, burning lots of calories.
In the end, it’s not about the lost pounds or dress sizes; it’s about the confidence and satisfaction that’s gained through working toward your goals. It’s given Yearwood a whole new outlook on life, as she states, “I have a strength I never had before. I feel like I can do anything.”
