Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley recently hit the road together on the ‘Locked & Reloaded’ Tour. The superstars, who first toured together in 2006, will make stops in more than 30 cities across the country together.
Lambert is excited to be back on the road with her former tour mate. “Dierks and I have been friends for a while, and we have had a lot of fun touring together in the past,” she tells Lancaster Online. “We are known for our distinctive music styles, but I think they are complementary and that our audiences have a lot in common, too.”
If you saw Lambert’s ‘On Fire’ Tour last year, don’t expect to see the same show again.
“The set for the “Locked & Reloaded Tour” is totally different than last year’s ‘On Fire Tour.’ There will be different lighting and other exciting visual elements that I’ve never used before,” Lambert explains. “I have made a new set list for the beginning of 2013, but as always, I like to include songs from all four of my albums, focusing on my newest music, such as my current single, ‘Mama’s Broken Heart.’ I like to throw in unexpected, rockin’ cover songs, too.”
If you’re heading out to a show, Lambert says you should “expect the unexpected and to hopefully have a lot of fun.”
In addition to touring together, Miranda and Dierks will also perform a duet at the GRAMMY awards next month.
