"Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?" is the title of Thompson Square's first-ever No. 1 song and will also be the title of the married country couple's first book! The duo's Shawna and Keifer Thompson have inked a deal with Howard Books to co-write a novel partly based on the love story told in their Grammy-nominated tune.

Also co-written with famed Christian author Travis Thrasher, "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" will center around characters David Winters and Zoe Spark, two teenagers paired together to write songs for their high school musical. Though their personalities are quite different, they begin dating and do so on and off throughout college, before eventually breaking up. But after David and Zoe go their separate ways, two of their songs become hits and the co-writers follow a rocky, but romantic path back to one another.
