Earlier this year, rumors started swirling about Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera recording a duet together. The rumors sparked after Aguilera performed Shelton’s hit “Hillbilly Bone” on “The Voice” when both artists started saying how much they’d like to record together.

“Well you know it’s an understatement to say that I’m open to singing a duet with Christina Aguilera,” Blake said at the time. “More like I would pay her, I would beg her, I’ll wash her car, I’ll clean her house, I’ll babysit her kid. I’ll do whatever I need to do to get that done.”

It appears Blake’s bribery has paid off! The pair has recorded a song together that will be featured on Christina’s upcoming album, Lotus. The song, “Just A Fool,” was recently posted on YouTube. The video opens with Christina, surrounded by fans, talking about what it was like recording the song with Blake and how much she admires him.

“I did something with my favorite on the show, cause he’s my big brother, and I actually am the closest to him of all the guys, is Blake,” she says. “He’s just a rockstar. He’s great. He’s just so playful and so fun and down to earth. He’s got a lot of heart, which some people… well I guess you see from the show. But he’s just great.”
