My wife Kim and I live on a 16 acre farm in Solon Township in Kent County.
We are trying to get a beef operation going, but make some money with our egg business.
I love to restore old wooden motor boats. (DO YOU HAVE ONE THAT'S BEEN IN A BARN FOR YEARS?)
I love to fly radio control airplanes and the ones with strings that we all had as kids! Anyone have some of those lying around?
My best buck is a rather small eight point, but it is hanging in my office.
My best fish was a King Salmon I fought for 45 minutes on the lake. But it got away.
I grew up in Chicago and remain a dedicated Cubs and Bears fan.
Sarah Knysz is the 20 year old wife of the 19 year old kid accused of murdering State Trooper Paul Butterfield on September 9th in Mason County.
Sarah is in jail, seven months pregnant, charged with three serious felonies and scared out of her wits. Angel Burnham (her mother) says Sarah "will spill her guts".
Angel says Sarah had no idea her husband Eric Knysz had a stolen .357 Colt Python handgun their car,
had no idea he was going to shoot a trooper and after he pulled the trigger, she did exactly what she was ordered to do.
Burnham says the killer had seen enough crime TV to know Police could use their cell phone to track them down with GPS. He ordered his wife to rip out the battery and sim card. Sarah told her mother, Mom, he made me take it out.
Angel says a terrified Sarah thought to herself, "What am I going to do? Run across this open field? He might shoot me too!"
Burnham and her mother (Sarah's Grandmother) says Sarah is cooperating in every way she can. In fact Burnham says there is no need for prosecutors to file charges against her daughter to try and force her to talk. She says Sarah wants to testify and tell everyone the truth.
Angel Burnham says her daughter met the accused killer when she was 16 years old. They rode the school bus together. She says no one else liked Kynsz. But Sarah always did what he told her to do.
The mother didn't know until after Trooper Butterfield was murdered that Knysz was abusing her pregnant daugther. She says in one instance Knysz kept his wife locked in a room for two days.
She said she was stunned when her daugther confessed Kynsz threated to murder her if she ever considered leaving him.
