A storm system will move across the upper Midwest today.
Ahead of this system, there may be some sun to start the day along with some strong southerly winds. Look for a hi this afternoon in the lo to mid 40's.
Once the cold front passes Monday night strong northwest winds will bring very cold air back across West Michigan into Tuesday. The rain will change back to snow before the Tuesday morning drive, and a quick freeze will ice up most roads.
With the new snow on top of the ice, we'll probably have a few schools close.
Another storm system looks to affect the region later in the week, and this could produce a period of accumulating snow across the area. Light precip Thursday evening and night could transition to freezing drizzle.
