Everyone's favorite Grand Rapids Weather Uncle is quoting the National Weather Service extended forecast on his blog today.   The weather service is talking about lake effect snow headed our way next week.   Here is exactly what the service is saying.....

A SIGNIFICANT LAKE EFFECT EVENT IS LOOKING LIKELY FOR
SUNDAY NIGHT AS THE POLAR CORE DIPS SOUTH.

SNOW INTENSITIES ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE ON SUNDAY NIGHT.

SOUTH HAVEN LOOKS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE FOR HEAVY SNOW.

THE OVERALL PATTERN REMAINS VERY FAVORABLE FOR HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW MONDAY INTO TUESDAY...

THERE IS
CONCERN ABOUT SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS.  WATCH FOR  BLOWING SNOW AND ICY ROADS.

IT WILL BE SO COLD, ROAD SALT MAY NOT WORK.

FREEZING RAIN COULD BECOME A CONCERN ON THURSDAY AS
PRECIP BREAKS OUT AHEAD OF A SYSTEM IN THE PLAINS.

I sure hope you have been paying attention to what I have been saying for the last couple of weeks about Rain X Latitude Windshield Wipers!

I use all these fine Rain X products on my truck and car, and you should too!
